There are several materials for ball valves

How many materials are available for ball valves? The opening and closing part of the ball valve is a round sphere with a hole. The ball core rotates around the axis of the valve stem by 0-90° back and forth to achieve the purpose of opening or closing the valve. Ball valves have many functions. They are generally used to switch off or adjust the medium in the pipeline. Among them, the three-way ball valve can flexibly cut off, distribute and change the flow direction of the medium. The sealing surface of the ball valve is usually closed with the spherical surface, so it is not easy to be eroded by the medium. It is easy to operate and has a simple and compact structure. It can be used in working conditions such as water, natural gas, acid, and solvent.

Common materials for ball valves are: cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, and copper.

Cast iron ball valves are mostly used in low-pressure water pipelines, and the common product model is Q41F-16 with flange connection;

Cast steel ball valves are mostly used in medium and high-pressure pipelines to pass water, steam, oil and other media. The common cast steel ball valve model is Q41F-16C;

Commonly used stainless steel ball valves are one-piece ball valves, two-piece ball valves, and three-piece ball valves, all of which are threaded connections, and are mostly used for small-caliber water, steam, and oil products. The common model is Q11F-16P;

Copper ball valve, the valve body material is made of brass, and there are threaded connections and flange connections. However, threaded brass ball valves on the market are more common and require greater demand. They are mostly installed on HVAC pipes. Use hot water.

Whether it is a cast iron ball valve, a cast steel ball valve, a stainless steel ball valve or a brass ball valve, Bundor Valves has production and sales. If you have a procurement plan in this regard, you are welcome to inquire.
